What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a special link that may earn us a small commission if you click it and later take an action, such as signing up for a service. Using an affiliate link never costs you anything extra. Where a link is affiliate or sponsored, we aim to make that relationship clear.
How it affects our content
It does not. A commercial relationship never changes our editorial conclusions, the order of a comparison, or whether we mention a limitation. Our assessments are based on the criteria set out in our Editorial Policy and How We Test pages. If we cannot cover something honestly, we would rather not cover it at all.
